Safety is always of Paramount Importance to Van Egdom
In recent years maintenance, inspection regulations and safety regimes for water slides and water attractions has tightened.
The new EN1069:2010 norm now expects all operators to ensure periodical repeat inspections on all rides, slides and water attractions consisting of a technical inspection in the first and second year, followed by a safety inspection by a certified appointed approval authority in the third year.
It is essential for any administrator or swimming pool operator responsible for the safety of the water slide and/or other water attractions to introduce a regular independent expert inspection.
Van Egdom offer a packaged service and will undertake annual technical inspections on your behalf, this includes checking and inspecting your water slides for imperfections in the slide surface and the support construction.
These works will be carried out by our skilled and professional staff. Any minor polyester repairs can be resolved directly.
We will provide an extensive inspection report containing all the relevant observations and comments clarified with pictures and descriptions. We will issue a signed log of the inspection and maintenance work identified, so you as an operator meet the obligation of the WAS and the EN1069:2010.
Our reports and inspections are valid for one year.
Van Egdom can arrange this for you and you will receive an extensive report based on the safety inspection carried out by the appointed authority. It contains all relevant observations and comments clarified with pictures and descriptions.
