Van Egdom recently closed a big contract for the refurbishments of the Coral Reef Waterworld. Coral Reef Waterworld is one of the most popular visitor attractions in the South East of the United Kingdom and next year will undergo a fantastic facelift.
When visitors come back to the waterpark after the year long transformation they will enjoy five exciting new flumes (in total more than 500 metres long), including two iconic thrill rides: the Crazy Cones and the Super Crater, which will be exclusive to the South East of the UK.
This special and complex project is unique as we have to build from a new tower into the existing facility. The slides will cross each other inside the building to increase the spectators' view through crystal clear sections above each other.
The project will also see a new roof over the main pool, improvements to the cafe/ restaurant, the changing rooms, reception and sauna world.
The new look Coral Reef Waterworld will be ready in early 2017.
